Mr B - gathering the neighbors

This brother started coming to our church but it wasn't til I realized how far he walks... over an hour, with his precious wife and 2 baby twin girls... One time we decided to visit him. The area, Kawama, is a very poor area, low cost housing people can afford $7 a month for rent, a one room mud hut, with no electricity or water. The people are so sweet and hungry for the word. As we came, he quickly sent for the neighbours... This is the man who was on the radio, he tells them. He had been gathering them for the Tuesday evening program, The Grace Hour, broadcasted from Kitwe, around the Copperbelt. We sit in the darkness, with no lights on, except the moon.. I can't even begin to put myself in his shoes. Pray for Mr B and his precious family. He has recently started coming to Bible college.

Perhaps he departed for a season...

This brother, Mr T, came to us from a Brahmite background (Jesus only crowd), got saved, saw the light, was part of our church and Bible school for some time time... then for some reason I can't get into, disappeared without a trace...
It had been months. I was told he was sighted in Ndola (a city 1hr away). Then early Sunday morning.. about 05:15am, God put him on my heart. I began to pray for him and then, even being so early, had the urge to call him up. It was 05:25. I tried calling but his phone number wasn't working! Tried another number I had.. same thing! He had changed his number! So I just committed him to the Lord
That same morning, as I walked into service, I couldn't believe my eyes!!!! There he was... sitting in the front row!!! God brought him back! He wanted to know if it was ok to be back in classes and I told him, It's like you never left. GRACE GRACE GRACE GRACE..... Phm1:15-16

Mr. J

A certain Mr A., new in our church, told his friend, Mr. J about us. He had a problem, in the family. He called me up wanting to see me. So we went to the house. A small house, children running around, extended family in the background, he began to explain the problem. He had lost his peace. He had a Quran which he said was causing him to loose sleep. He was a Muslim but was realizing this was not the truth. Without getting into the actual relationship issue, we shared the simple message of Grace... and God's plan for them to be saved. That couple prayed with us there. The next week it was such a blessing to see the whole family in church! Then in Footsteps. Now he's thinking about classes! After a few months I got a call. His daughter had been burned by boiling water. We went over. Prayed. And encouraged them. It's amazing what little, but genuine faith can allow God to do. They came through the trial beautifully and the child is now doing great. Pray for Mr J., a miracle of Grace. He is asking the Lord to lead him to a stable job so he can provide for his family.
